Gresham House UX/UI Digital Rebrand

Gresham House Asset Management

 

Gresham House is a listed specialist alternative asset manager offering funds, direct investments and tailored investment opportunities. They were looking to rebrand and required a fully responsive digital experience when landing on their website. We were tasked to understand the changing business requirements and create a fluid customer experience when visiting the site.

 
 

What we needed to do

 

After the initial brief to rebrand and create a responsive site, we started looking into how we could unify the brand bringing together their diverse products. Our limitation were: Logo to stay unchanged and Primary colour to be blue. The challenge: As an asset management consultancy the range of products where extremely diverse from equity funds to sustainable investing. The question was: how to bring together branding and design that work throughout the site while still retaining the individuality of each product.

The Concept: Upward Motion

“We are long-term investors and always forward-looking. While cognisant of our environment, we are not distracted by what’s immediately in front of us.”

This is visually displayed throughout the imagery and graphic elements used on the site.

Navigation and sitemap

An audit on the existing site was completed, leading to a new site map and creating an updated navigation on both desktop and mobile.

We also introduced a search functionality working with keywords within their existing site and industry.

Wireframing and prototypes

We found key aspects within the site map that needed to be addressed within the functionality of the site.

Including the above functionality within our medium fidelity wires helped along the visual design process.

Visual design

Along with the “Upward Motion” theme we created a graphical element with slightly angled borders leading your eye along the line of the chosen imagery reinforcing the feeling of trust.

Interaction and asset creation

We created various designs showing interaction examples, timelines, infographics and other relevant assets to help imprint the styling for additional assets going forward.

Procedures

This was one of their first start to finish builds they had ever done. Along with the above information, we also put out a document on the procedures to be used for any new build going forward - from initial concepting right through to the final build stages of QA.

 
 

What was achieved

After launch the average dwell time for desktop clients increased, but we saw an exponential growth in users accessing our mobile site with session times lasting on average around 2 minutes.
